Sharpening the comms
The National Infrastructure Commission is a Treasury agency which provides the government with impartial, expert advice on long-term infrastructure challenges.
Its objectives are to support sustainable economic growth across all regions of the UK and improve competitiveness as well as quality of life.
On behalf of the CEO and board, Caseman analysed the organisation's communications function, delivered a new campaign strategy and then selected and recruited a new head of communications.
Richard launched a campaign to accelerate growth of the UK's national network of electric vehicle charge points and ramped up pressure on the Chancellor to respond to the Commission's national infrastructure assessment.
He also increased the Commission's media profile, securing national coverage for Board members' thought leadership, sustainable energy proposals and a landmark freight study, which urged the government to ban all diesel HGVs by 2040.
